By Matt Bittner

For the last set of decals sent in the latest batch, we have these from Print Scale for the F6F Hellcat:

  • Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat, 348/11.F.31, 11eme Flotille, Aeronavale, operating in Indo China, 1935
  • Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat. ‘S’, GC ll/9 ‘Auvergne, Armee de I’Air, Tan Son Nhut (Vietnam), 1952. Sea Blue Gloss overall with white code over a black rectangle; unit badge carried on both sides of cowling
  • Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat. A-401, Aviacion Naval, Uruguay. Dark Sea Blue on all top surfaces; Light Blue undersides. Codes and lettering in white, with ‘01' of code repeated in white on the engine cowling. National markings in four wing positions
  • Grumman Hellcat Mk I, JV125/E-O, own by Lt Cdr S.G. Orr, No. 804 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, HMS Emperor, central Norway, May 1944
Print Scale 72-529

Decals are nicely printed and appear to be in register. Included on the sheet are stencils for one aircraft.

Naturally the best kit in 1/72 is the one from Eduard.

My thanks goes to Print Scale for sending these in for review.
