Starfighter Decals 1/144 F-102

By Matt Bittner

decal_sf144127-2.jpg
These F-102 sheets from Starfighter is for the Arii/Otaki (and later re-released by Revell) F-102. The overall color is "ADC Grey". The first sheet, 144-127, covers the following aircraft:

  • 57th FIS, based in Keflavik, Iceland which has large 'arctic' markings on the wings and fin

  • 326th FIS at Richard Gebaur AFB, near Kansas City in 1957/58. This adds a dash of color to the F-102 with yellow wing tips and a possible yellow radome

  • 329th FIS at George AFB, near Victorville, Ca in 1960

The second sheet from Starfighter, 144-128, covers the following aircraft (again, overall color being "ADC Grey"):

  • 157th FIS, McEntire ANGB, 1969

  • 118 FIS Greater Pittsburgh IAP, 1975

  • 134th FIS, Burlington IAP, 1967

Like all Starfighter 1/144th decals these are ALPS-printed so care must be taken when handling and applying. Decals are very nicely done and in register. decal_sf1441284.jpg

Huge thanks to Starfighter Decals for providing the review samples.
