I received an interesting email that this publication was coming due, and I was very interested in obtaining it for my library. While the text is completely in Czech, you can order a separate translation of the summary and photograph captions in either German, Italian or English.

I was pleasantly surprised at the contents. The photographs are all new to me and published to a high standard. While most of the aircraft covered are seaplanes, the book also covers land-based aircraft operated by the Austro-Hungarian Navy, such as the Fokker E.III (A.III), Phönix D.II and D.III, etc. There are also a few color profiles of some of the major types of aircraft.

This is an excellent collection of photographs of Austro-Hungarian Naval fighter aircraft and I highly recommend it. The translations cover most of the text and the photo captions. The only portion of the book not translated are the small biographies of the pilots as well as the tables; however, the row and column headers of the tables are translated. This is definitely a book worth tracking down. If you would like to purchase this publication, please email zd.cejka@post.cz.
