Arma Hobby 1/72 Ki-84 Hayate Special Attack Units

By Matt Bittner

Overview

Since we have already provided a First Look at the Arma Hobby Ki-84 I refer the reader to that article for the majority of what's in the box. This article will cover just the markings for this release.

Markings

Here are the aircraft Arma Hobby provides decals for:

  • Ki-84 Ko Hayate - 57 Shimbu-tai, pilot: Tadashi Kono, Miyakonojo airfield, Kyushu, Japan, 1945
  • Ki-84 Ko Hayate - 58 Shimbu-tai, pilot: Lt. Toku Ueda, Miyakonojo airfield, Kyushu, Japan 1945
  • Ki-84 Ko Hayate - 195 Shimbu-tai, pilot: Lt. Fujiyama Nobuho, Awaji, Yura Airfield, Japan 1945
Arma Hobby 70053

The decals are nicely printed and includes all stencling.

Note that this release comes with only the plastic, decals and masks, unless you pre-ordered it. Remember, in order to receive any 3D printed parts from Arma Hobby you must pre-order any kit.

We definitely thankĀ Arma Hobby for providing the review kit. It's important to remember only pre-ordered kits come with 3D printed parts, like seats, exhausts, etc.
